CLLR Phil Davies, leader of Wirral Council, stated in my 2015 council demand: "We are proud to say we are freezing the level of council tax we charge."
Well you have not frozen my council tax charge, in fact it has gone up £100 this year!
Why, we have lost the pensioner discount, and of course the £30 for the privilege of having a brown bin?
Looking round the town the pot holes, the litter, we hardly see a policeman, libraries closing down, cemeteries in a poor state, golf courses run down – the council is trying to sell them off.
One wonders where all this money is being spent?
We seem to be paying more and more for a reducing level of service.
