WHEN shopping in Birkenhead on Friday, February 6, my elderly husband collapsed in the car park.
We would like to thank the many people who volunteered their assistance, a special thanks to the lady who phoned the ambulance and gentleman called Ken who stayed and helped my husband Bob until it arrived.
The ambulance crew arrived within minutes and were great.
On arriving at Arrowe Park Hospital he was quickly attended to and given many tests by an efficient and friendly staff.
He was eventually allowed to leave and has recovered.
We recently moved back to Wirral after living in Scotland for many years.
It is heartwarming and gratifying to realise there are many selfless, good people willing to help when needed. Our move back to Wirral was the right one.
