WE only seem to hear complaints with regard to traffic wardens.

Last Friday, I parked my car in Birkenhead near Wilkinson’s. The lady warden saw that I had put an extra 20p as I did not have a 5p.

She gave me a 5p and got my ticket out.

I was amazed.

Today, I parked at West Kirby Concourse with a handful of coins, including a 5p.

I was 10p short, although I keep a supply of coins in the car.

The nearby traffic warden gave me a 10p coin. I said I would get 10p from my car, but he refused.

I returned the 10p from my car.

I hope they get reimbursed for these kindnesses.
