I WOULD like to thank all the staff at Arrowe Park Hospital.

I had to call an ambulance for my mumwho had pains in her chest; the ambulance arrived within minutes and the ambulance men were so caring towards her and treated her with respect.

Once we arrived at A & E the nurses doctors and admin staff were all fantastic.

Mum, who is 81, was treated with dignity at all times. They had her wired to the monitors within minutes, nurses and doctors checked on her regularly and they kept me informed as to what was happening. They didn’t want to move mum from A & E to just any ward, they wanted to move her straight to the CCU where she would be seen by a specialist as soon as possible on the Sunday morning as she had had a heart attack.

Mum was in for a week and is now to be treated as an outpatient at Broadgreen Hospital.

The whole time the nursing staff, doctors and everyone else looked after her so well Arrowe Park gets so much criticism that I wanted to let people know that some people do get treated with the care and dignity that they deserve.
