I WOULD like to express my utter disgust at the people who walk their dogs through Oxton village leaving a trail of dirt behind them.
Walking along Rose Mount last Saturday there were seven different mounds of dog muck within a few hundred yards – including diarrhoea.
It was horrendous and patently the work of several pet-owners.
This is right outside people’s homes, for God's sake.
How filthy have you got to be to let your animal dirty outside someone’s home and walk away and leave it?
I would ask these irresponsible people: Would you let your dog dirty on your doorstep?
There are people who take a lot of pride in their homes and their gardens and it is totally unacceptable to have such disregard for others.
These people should be named, shamed and fined – that’s the only thing that will make them clean up after their pets.
Mrs Walker, Oxton.
@WIRRALGLOBENEWS Totally agree, thoughtless and disgusting The Oxton Society provide bags so there is no excuse. Keep Oxton Village lovely
