I LIVE on the Leasowe estate which has approximately another 1,000 properties; not all of us have motor vehicles or good mobility.

There are a lot of people who rely on public transport.

Arriva North West offer us a fantastic bus service for those who don’t drive, so a huge thank you to them.

But the same cannot be said for Merseytravel as, since the introduction of the new Walrus cards, we cannot now save money and may not be able to visit our friends and families etc.

The reason is we have a Premier Stores whose paypoint is attached to the till, and the only other shop is an off-licence which has a paypoint terminal, but has stopped offering this service.

So please Merseytravel, can we have the paper tickets back or resolve this issue for the residents on the estate?
