Message for Wirral councillors: "Forget taxis, get the bus"
SO now we know where our money is spent – £3,000 taxi bill sparks storm on last week's Globe front page.
Leader Phil Davies said councillors have to attend the town hall as part of their duties.
So where they live must be so far off the beaten track that there are no buses or trains?
With all the expenses being claimed, it must be Caldy!
