COULD the owner of the dog who bit my seven-month-old chocolate Labrador in Storeton woods, around 11.30am on Saturday, January 17, please contact the Wirral Globe.
When the incident took place you asked if my dog was OK, which at that time I thought he was.
It was only on closer inspection minutes later, when I saw his ear was bleeding, that I realised how serious the bite was.
Our pet needed to be treated by a vet that day, resulting in him needing stitches under general anaesthetic and antibiotics. The total cost for this has been £245.
I'm confident you are a decent person and hope to hear from you.
