ONCE again we have an MP with selective amnesia.
In last week's edition of the Wirral Globe Esther McVey tries to shift the blame for the closure of Lyndale School in Eastham.
Twice in her article she say the blame lies on the shoulders of the Labour-controlled council.
But even a pleb like me knows it is her colleagues in the Tory-led Coalition in London who caused all the cutbacks, except in their own heartlands of the Southeast, which have led to the present situation at Lyndale.
Instead of getting together with the council to try to keep this good school open, Ms McVey is trying to score cheap political points.
Is it any wonder people like me just do not trust MPs?
Tony Gaskell, West Kirby.
