ONCE again this year we see Moreton lit with Christmas lights.

Many people still think the council does this, however they have not helped for years and the cost each year for the lights is going up and up, with replacement lights, storage etc.

We are blessed to have two Moreton residents who every year make this happen, Angela and Steve Pouncey who raise the funds in any way they can in order to ensure Moreton residents, businesses and visitors all benefit from this festive display.

Thanks this year also to “Your Wirral” and the Wallasey Constituency Committee for providing some of the funding.
