IN answer to Mr A Begg of Upton, I strongly disagree with his observations on two issues.

Firstly, the mini-roundabout at the junction of Harrison Drive, Wallasey Village and Bayswater Road.

Since its construction, it allows easy exit and access to the mentioned roads, where before it was a nightmare and dangerous, just allowing cars to and from New Brighton a straight run through.

Also, it has improved the exit and access to the side roads due to the roundabout creating gaps in the traffic.

Secondly, the barrier on the slip road to the M53 was set up as a safety feature to prevent speeding cars approaching the junction trying to beat cars coming from the right.

Now, if you're sensible, you have to slow down, look right, then proceed.

We must remember there are other drivers on the road to consider.
