Not surprised by collapse of King Street buildings
I WRITE in reference to the recent furore over the collapse of properties in King Street, Wallasey.
This comes as no surprise to a lot of long-time residents of this area.
The whole of Wallasey, particularly Egremont, Seacombe and Poulton Road appear to be "in managed decline" for many years, so as to make "affordable housing" from our once-thriving shopping centres.
Wallasey is a shadow of its former self, to the dismay of many residents who knew better times.
