SO Esther McVey is crowing about people being in work.
Yes – on zero-hours contracts, including me.
You never know from day to day when, or if, you will be working, or how many hours' work you are going to get.
This is totally misleading.
It gives the impression that people are working 40 hours a week on a good wage.
The truth is, you could get no work, and if you do get work, it is minimum wage.
