WHO was the bright spark who wants a fire station in Greasby village?
Are they out of their tiny minds?
It would be a danger for all little ones, schoolchildren and adults.
I am disabled and rely on a scooter for getting to the shops and have lived in Greasby since 1950.
I've seen a good many changes for the better, but a fire station is a no-no.
Shops will lose a lot in business, because people will not want to go. Also, the noise would drive people to sell up.
Would you put a child in the middle of a motorway? No.
Well, that is what it would be like if we had a fire station.
There must be some fields somewhere.
The circus was on one in Saughall Massie.
So no! no! no! we don't want a fire station.
Mrs G Cooke, Greasby
