I HAVE come to believe that Wirral is the traffic-light capital of the world.
Every single day my four-mile commute to work takes 45 minutes as I navigate my way through 23 sets of traffic-lights between Upton and Birkenhead. It's so frustrating.
I can barely drive 50 yards without having to halt at a red light, and so, together with the lengthy queues of traffic I have to sit in along the Upton Bypass, by the time I arrive at work I am a seething ball of fluster and fury.
I am all for allowing people to cross the road safely but surely we don’t need SO many traffic-lights along our roads?
There seem to be a disproportionately high number in Wirral compared to elsewhere in the country.
