I AM an unemployed single person trying to live on £70 a week, wondering where the next money for heat and water will come from.
Now, I’m having my money stopped for not searching for enough jobs: only eight in two weeks, instead of ten jobs per day.
If the jobs aren’t there, I can’t apply for them, but they stop my money anyway.
It's all right for them, they can go home to a nice fire and probably a glass of wine. So, do they care if you're threatened with eviction? No, but they've got £60 billion to spend on a train system that nobody wants.
They say "oh, it's for the good of the country" – what country it is, I don’t know. It certainly isn’t Britain.
The fat cats get fatter and the unemployed get thinner.
I can complain until I’m blue in the face, but will it pay the bills? I don’t think so.
