I AM a dog owner who walks her dog, hail, rain or shine, on the beaches of Wirral all year round.
I am so angry that some people think it's a good idea to ban dogs off the beaches during the summer months.
I live in Hoylake and during this summer we would walk to West Kirby after work.
We were appalled to find on the beach most nights nappies, food wrappers, beer cans, disused barbecues etc.
I saw no dog mess, just waste left by ignorant idiots who can’t be bothered walking to the bin.
Shall we ban unruly children and lazy adults too?
We cannot judge all people the same. Dog walkers included.
Where are you when I'm on the beach in January, when it's blowing a gale?
The summer is for everyone, as well as dog owners. Get over yourselves and be more tolerant.
Angela, Hoylake, by email.
