DOG-fouling has and always will be an issue that people will comment about.

Presently it's uncontrollable.

A dog-owner walking with a plastic bag and shovel is a joke unless they are fit enough to follow their dogs every track as it races around often out of sight.

Because it's uncontrollable, why not control it by having dedicated fenced areas where dog owners can walk their animals?

Such areas can even include parts of a beach, field, park etc and a small fee could be charged for the upkeep and cleaning of such areas. Problem solved.

Smokers are classed as unsociable and have been segregated from non-smokers. It’s no different than segregating dog owners from non-dog-owners.

This seems to be the only common sense simple solution to this continuing problem.
