TO the person who stole my purse from me today, I hope you are feeling great about yourself.
I volunteer two days a week in a community centre cafe, which keeps me active and I enjoy meeting people.
I have suffered with osteoarthritis for more than 30 years now, and had to give up working a number of years ago because of it.
I am not in receipt of any benefits, I am also a pensioner but do not receive a pension just yet.
My husband gave me some money to spend on myself for a change as he said I usually spend it on others.
So thank you, thief, whoever you are. I've lost my bus pass and £130.
The police are looking into it and my family and friends are keeping their eyes and ears open.
Please, if you have any shred of decency, give it back.
Mrs L Hatton by email.
