It's up to me how I am addressed

Wirral Globe: It's up to me how I am addressed It's up to me how I am addressed

REGARDING the letter headlined Guidelines from history, while I feel everyone is entitled to an opinion, I do take exception to the writer.

I choose to use the title Ms not because it is politically correct but because this is what I want to be known as.

I have been divorced and am now in a happy loving relationship and I feel the title Miss is not appropriate for me.

In any event it is up to me what title I use, I should not have to conform to some out of date stereotypical term if I prefer not to.

I read the person's comments too, political correctness as regards describing or naming people means addressing people or refering to them, in the way they wish.It is their choice and should be respected .
I too use Ms but if a person wanted to be called Mrs or Miss or Mr that is how I would refer to them.
