WITH regards to a few articles in the Globe, I must point out that Britain does not use metric measurements.
Imperial measurements and miles are still the norm here and hopefully will remain so for many years.
Metres and kilometres are not compulsory, however if the metric lovers want them then Imperial measurements and metric ones should be displayed side by side.
That would keep both sides happy.
The term "Ms" is politically correct and should never be used.
The proper terms for a woman are Mrs and Miss.
The Wirral Peninsula was and still is in Cheshire, and the traditional county names must be kept.
