AND so the great wind farm scam continues.
Plans are afoot to quadruple the size of the Burbo Bank wind farm, as if it didn't blight the view from the shores of the Mersey already.
Danmark-based Dong Energy talks of the construction of 65 more wind turbines involving 2,000 workers but just how many of those will be local, not many I say.
Wind power has been shown to be an ineffective and expensive energy source, a cost we all bear on our power bills and all to meet impossible climate change targets.
The public are increasingly aware of this and in response the government is now favouring off shore rather than wind farms in our beautiful countryside.
Well our seascapes are also beautiful and we must fight to protect them from the march of these useless eyesores.
