I WISH to express my alarm at the way in which a 20mph limit has been introduced into Pensby.

Some of the areas covered are in no way affected by the school for which this limitation has been deemed necessary.

Take Marksway for instance, this is nowhere near the school and is most of the time – since the new Tesco was allowed – clogged by cars both on the road and on the footpath.

Considering money is supposed to be in such short supply within the council, all these signs are a complete waste of our cash.

I would suggest the council look to Fishers Lane and Pensby Road, this is where the speeding takes place –and not a thing is done about it.

Is it not time for them to spend our money wisely?
