FOLLOWING a number of stories relating to Arrowe Park Hospital, I wanted to write and share my experience of the Maternity Unit.
Last year, I had an emergency caesarean and was in hospital for a while because my daughter was poorly.
It was a very worrying time but the support that we received could not have been better.
My introduction to motherhood was not smooth sailing, but the excellent care provided meant we got home for Christmas.
My baby's name is Ava.
She is a happy, healthy and confident little girl and I strongly believe that the care she received at Arrowe Park played an important part in this.
My husband and I will never forget the people who looked after us during that time and as we prepare to celebrate her first birthday, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Arrowe Park Maternity Unit.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude.
