FIRST of all, the brown bin episode.

Wonderful idea.

Put your garden waste into the brown bin, it is collected on a regular basis and turned into compost.

Brilliant.

Then some idiot on the council comes up with the idea to let them pay a little extra money.

It backfires.

People rebel and it turns into a very expensive fiasco.

Sack him.

They are collecting the unwanted brown bins today (which the public have already paid for), what is to become of them?

Next, the bright spark who has come up with the idea of turning the street lights off to save money.

I ask the question "where has he been lately?"

There are 16 street lights on 24/7 in Bebington, one has been on for 15 months.

Disgraceful.

This is bad housekeeping at its worst.

Let me remind the council you are being well-paid by the ratepayers to do a job which you are are not doing.

Pull your socks up or get out.
