Well done Globe

IT is not surprising to read of the awards recently received by the Globe and its Editor.

Apart from the full and varied content, you manage to avoid the annoying habits of some of your competitors, like:

Using headlines which play on words to give effect, but which are often so contrived as to annoy, rather than provoke interest;

Grammatical errors such as inappropriate use of punctuation, split infinitives, etc.

Over- dramatization of events, which can distort and confuse the facts and issues involved.

The result is a paper which appears to 'tell it as it is', and which is a pleasure to read.

Well done.

I agree, The Globe has never been frightened to say it as it is and give the Wirral public the truth. Well done.
