ANOTHER increase in the tunnel toll / tax.
It makes a bigger joke of the 'county of Merseyside' when you can't even travel from one side to the other without paying.
Imagine the outcry if this ludicrous situation was imposed on London and the Thames crossings.

Counties were originally established with natural boundaries such as Mountain and rivers.
This was the same mentality that drew up the short lived proposals for the 'new' political constituencies.
