I WRITE in response to your correspondent CW’s problem with taxi drivers.
Two years ago I had a major operation on my leg and was left unable to drive for a long time.
I can only praise the help I had from taxi drivers, and no, I am not a young, good looking blonde!
Drivers always gave me time, helped me to and from the house, one even asked if he could help with getting shopping in for me.
My particular praise goes to Roadrunner in Upton, but all drivers I encountered were so nice.
