Egg-Run headline was misleading

I AM writing in response to your misleading headline: "World-Famous Egg Run Is Cancelled".
The Egg Run has been going for more than 20 years. Starting off with just 30 or 40 people.
Over the years its popularity has increased both as a social event but mainly as a charity event.
It is, we, the motor bikers who decide if the Egg Run goes ahead or not.
It ran safely and without incident for many years without people hijacking the event.
