IN answer to the article “Motorhomes on New Brighton Prom” typical of the residents of Wallasey, they have no proof that any of the vehicles have dumped anything in the sea.
I have been a motorhome owner for 20 years and have travelled all over Europe and in every country you are made welcome.
Most towns have parking areas for motorhomes and a great number have campsites at reasonable rates, which provide toilets/water/waste facilities, they are wise enough to to realise that motorhomers spend money unlike this borough who look on them as "travellers" and treat them as anti-social litter louts.
Wirral Council should wake up and come into the real world and as for charging for parking should drive away all the visitors from Wirral, talk about twisted thinking, why not ban people from the beaches? As they leave litter and of course. What about the polluting cars parking on the promenade?
Let's turn New Brighton back to an empty resort, this should please the Birkenhead Labour dominated Council!
