I WOULD like to say a heartfelt thank-you to the fantastic people we met during our recent visit.
My father was having treatment at Clatterbridge Hospital and I travelled up from Birmingham to be with him.
The kindness and help we received during our time was humbling.
The hospital staff, guest house owners, staff in restaurants and cafes were so welcoming and willing to assist with any issues and it made our difficult visit so much easier.
Bus drivers and passengers alike could obviously see I was unsure initially and nothing was too much trouble for them to help me get to where I needed to go.
All we can do is thank you sincerely for the hospitality and will always be grateful to the wonderful people of Wirral.
