WOULD our emergency services care to explain why they blast their sirens in the middle of the night?

I live in the Prenton area and at 1.15am on Monday a police car/ambulance woke up our household – and presumably hundreds of others – by speeding past with its sirens going.

Surely, there was hardly any traffic on the road at that hour?

Would the blue flashing lights not be enough in the dark?

I have all the time in the world for our emergency services, but I was a but annoyed with them when I couldn't get back to sleep!
