WHY is our council so good at saying why they haven't done things despite having costly consultants as well as very highly-paid managers delivering poor services compared with similar councils?

Why were both our Adult Services and Children's Services deemed to be inadequate?

Why does the council seem by its actions to be keen to build on Green Belt land, like the unwanted Golf Resort with its luxury housing, when Wirral has ever-declining areas desperate for the sort of redevelopment others, like Liverpool, Manchester and Bristol, have achieved in their redundant dockland and industrial areas?

Why is Wirral just one of three councils nationally with preparations so poorly advanced against legal deadlines for its 'Local Plan' saying where development can and cannot occur such that there's the disgraceful prospect that others may have to intervene.

Why do we need around £100m in reserves - higher than most comparable councils, and lend money to other councils to fund their growth?

Why are daft, unwanted and expensive proposals only shelved or diluted when the political heat rises and why won’t the ruling leaders agree to reduce councillor numbers?

Or do we need those extra bins for the rubbish ideas and services our present council deliver and shout about in their so-called, poorly-circulated, contrary-to-national-guidance "newspaper?"
