I WOULD like to respond to Mr Parry's letter in the Globe titled Lowest Forms saying that dog owners are the lowest forms of humanity in civilization.

I do agree that some dogs owners and minders do throw poo bags anywhere and everywhere and not just in Wirral, it seems to be everywhere you go.

I have asked time and again for signs to be put up from Derby Pool Field to Leasowe Bay but it never happens, as at Green Lane Car Park there are a number of signs saying 'pick up dog mess' - but then we shouldn't need to be told.

I don't think it is just dog owners at fault Mr Parry, there is flytipping, litter/cans and bottles everywhere on the land and in the oceans, you only have to go on our roads and motorways to see all the litter thrown and that is not from dogs but humans.

I am one of the responsible dog owners who does pick up after my dog so I take unkindly being called 'lowest form of humanity'.

And I do know where to put litter, all this should be taught at an early age at school as its not just dogs that make a mess.
