READERS should be aware of Wirral Borough Council planning committee's determination to push on [regardless of public opposition] with the folly that is the Hoylake Golf Resort.
Those in doubt should read the fabrication that is the "question and answer" notes [December 9, 2018] following a public meeting.
One has to ask if the members of the planning committee were at the same meetings I have attended, and if so why then do they have the right as public elected officials to massage the results of those meetings to suit their own ends?
The Golf Resort will be a folly, regretted long and hard by residents and golfers, and regardless of political persuasion the whole sorry plan is a disaster awaiting us all.
