THOUGH I take on board the learned Professor Gregg's views on fracking, the jury is out as to whether fracking is a totally safe alternative source of energy.
I suggest that an independent government enquiry is set up to evaluate a cost benefit assessment and report to the national government which can then say 'yea' or 'nay' to fracking.
I have to say that much of what I have heard from media is against fracking, however.
Everyone forgets that we are still sitting on hundreds of years of supplies of coal, which can still be harvested for the benefit of our country.
We could be self sufficient on energy, even if the new cold war threatens to chill us to the bone.
