ON July 14, Nightrider Liverpool, a moonlit charity cycle ride, will be taking place.

I would like to invite your readers to take part and raise vital funds for Combat Stress, the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health.

As the director of income generation at Combat Stress and a former serviceman myself, I’m proud to work for a charity that helps veterans with mental health problems rebuild their lives.

Each year we receive more than 2,000 referrals from former servicemen and women struggling with their mental health.

It’s really important that we raise funds for the charity to ensure we can continue to provide support to every veteran who comes to us for help, so events like Nightrider are a great way for us to do this.

We’re keen to have lots of people join Team Combat Stress at the event to help us raise as much money as possible for the charity.

There are two routes available, either a 100km or a 50km ride, and it will be a fantastic way to see the sights of London at night whilst raising money for a really worthy cause.

Readers can sign up or find out more information on our website – www.combatstress.org.uk/nightrider.
