WIRRAL Lions Club would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the residents of Wirral who through their kind generosity enabled the Club to raise the magnificent sum of £9309 with their Christmas Float during December.

The proceeds will help the club to continue to support the many and varied charitable causes within Wirral.

Special thanks must also be paid to Aldi (New Ferry), Asda (Bromborough), Sainsbury's (Upton) and Tesco (Heswall) for their cooperation in allowing collections to be made at their premises.

In addition, Lion President Trevor Evans would like to thank the Friends of Wirral Lions Club and the boys of Wirral Grammar School Sixth Form for their tremendous help with the collections.

On behalf of Wirral Lions Club thank you all once again and a very happy New Year.
