ON Tuesday, September 12, my son had his bike stolen from outside the Oval sports centre.

He had locked it up while he was in the gym, when he came out his lock had been cut from the Cube mountain bike.

We bought the bike in April for his birthday and spent a lot of money in Halford’s to have it checked over and make sure it was road safe for him.

I am appealing to parents that if your child comes home with a bike that isn’t theirs please get in touch.

It has been reported to the police, but my son is heartbroken as he rides to school every day and then goes the gym after school.
