Praise for thoughtful lorry drivers
WHEN walking along Pensby Road in Heswall the other day, I was stuck on an island in the middle of the road as a huge lorry came along.
Seeing my problem, the driver kindly stopped and waved me across in front of his lorry.
This has happened twice and I should like to express my thanks to the thoughtful drivers who are willing to give way to an old woman struggling with her shopping.
