IN response to "rein-in" these horse riders.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that S Nicholson thinks that horse riders should pick up their horses droppings as we ride, how on earth does one get off their horse, pick it up and put it where?

Carrier bags?

And then ride one handed while we carry it back to the yard.

Can I just put it across that horses are vegetarians and their waste is purely chewed-up grass and does not have an offensive smell unlike dog dirt.

It is quickly absorbed into the sand when it rains or when the tide comes in.

As a horse owner / rider for 45 years I am left so saddened by people's attitudes towards us.

We are subjected on a daily basis to verbal abuse, dog attacks, low-flying microlights, drones, increased traffic driving too fast and far too close – the list is endless.

So far I have never complained until now.

Why can't people stop moaning and all get on with our lives?

We should all be allowed to enjoy the beauty of our wonderful beaches, be polite and courteous and show respect for one and other.

If only, the world would be a nicer place.
