I VISITED the clinic in Hill Lane, Wallasey on Thursday, July 20, in order to have a blood test.
I arrived at 3.45pm (clinic opening times are 8.30am to 4.30pm) and I was told that the clinic was closed due to the fact 200 tests had been conducted already and that was the maximum that could be done.
I was also told that it was advisable to attend before 3pm in order to ensure being seen that day. I returned the following day and had a waiting time of 75 minutes for a procedure that only took a few minutes.
I’m not sure where Mr Hammond has had his “great feedback” from but it’s not in my opinion from the patients having to visit one of the four clinics mentioned in his letter.
Trevor Thomas, Wallasey.
