REGARDING the Globe article in last week's paper about the state of Landican Cemetery, I to have complained to the office about the grass.
I had to make a journey back home to Eastham to collect cutters and return to cut the two-foot high grass hiding my mother-in-law's grave.
Last year I asked them to remove a 3ft by 2ft flagstone which was dumped by the side of the grave.
The reply I got was that they must be putting another grave there.
This flag tone still remains and soil has now covered it.
When I asked if they employ gardeners, I was told they had four.
It is an insult to our loved ones, a total disgrace.
