I READ with interest in a recent article in the Globe that a possible £1bn regeneration scheme, could be on its way to our borough.
West Kirby, Hoylake, Moreton, Bebington, Hamilton Square and Birkenhead town centre, are amongst those to benefit.
The Wirral Growth Plan may well be accepted by most in the communities to benefit.
It is typical of our Conservative council to invest in the likes of the areas mentioned, when cuts are happening in deprived areas.
Whoops! did I say 'Conservative' council?
Of course we have a Labour-run council, but where in the Wirral Growth Plan does it mention the regeneration one of our most deprived areas Rock Ferry.
Where in the regeneration plan does it mention the development of New Ferry, where an explosion devastated a huge part of the community (still no explanation to the cause).
It's disgraceful.
