I WISH to thank the wonderful people of New Brighton when they came to the assistance of my mother, who had a very bad fall on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 10 near Morrison's.
She lay on the ground for about an hour until an ambulance came and lots of people helped, bringing blankets, holding her hand – one gentleman even sitting on the ground to keep the wind off her.
Once in hospital, it was discovered she had a total dislocation of her arm and two broken bones in her shoulder.
She is still in Arrowe Park and may now need full shoulder replacement.
My family cannot thank enough the people who helped my mum.
