I HAVE read in your paper people's concerns about parking on pavements.

This problem can be solved by people living in the area.

In our road, there is a person who parks on her side of the street.

She has a driveway but doesn't use it.

Also, most others with common sense park opposite the houses.

Parking the way she does causes a bottleneck and tight squeeze between her car and others.

If she used some brains and common sense by using her driveway or parking opposite her house, the same as everyone else, you could easily park on the same side of the road and create at least four to five parking spaces, leaving the left going into the close clear.

She is, I believe, a teacher, has brains but no common sense or thought for other people.

The trouble with common sense is that it is not common enough with some people.
