I READ in last week's Globe that Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group has to cut some non-urgent services to reduce the deficit.
I then read a letter from Brian Scott complaining about the system for taking bloods at Wirral hospital walk-in centres, a sensible way of reducing cost of having phlebotomists in GP surgeries.
I had just been to VCH for a blood test, parking was free.
I was seen in 15 minutes by two very friendly phlebotomists and we jokes about the joys of being retired.
There was another person in having their blood taken, I really do not need privacy to bear my arm to have blood taken.
Come on Mr Scott, it did not cost you anything for treatment, parking is free at VCH and plenty of spaces and the staff are efficient and very pleasant.
