AS many of you will be aware, a major change in the way blood tests are conducted in Wirral has taken place from December 1.
Instead of visiting your local GP for a test, you will need to travel to one of only four testing centres in Wirral - and attend without being able to make an advance appointment.
Instead of a quick and convenient test at your local GP surgery, the test could well take up the best part of half-a-day.
From what I can gather, the vast majority of Wirral GPs are opposed to this change.
As nobody was consulted over this and, if you would like to express your opposition, I have set up a petition on Change.org which you may like to read and, hopefully, sign.
