HAVING just finished resurfacing the road and putting down the white markings on Saughall Road, the utilities people come along and dig it up again just outside the Saughall pub, disrupting traffic and people who live there.
Now the question is do these people even talk to each other when they resurface roads?
You'd think they might send an email: "We're doing the road – anyone want to put the pipes in before we start?"
They did exactly the same thing on Hoylake Road a few years ago from Moreton Cross to Saughall Massie, and then two weeks later the water (or gas) came along and dug up the entire road on side to lay new pipes, disrupting the traffic with temporary lights causing jams.
