ONCE again another accident on Arrowe Park Road due to the ageing tree population, this time with tragic consequences.
This to my knowledge is the fourth tree to come down in the last five years.
One came down in front of a friend’s car and if it wasn’t for quick thinking and good fortune he would have been another statistic.
Meanwhile over in the fantasy world of Hoylake Golf Resort, £260,000 has been spent towards building on Wirral green belt.
Now there are proposals for another £600,000 to be thrown away on an environmental investigation in to this ridiculous idea.
Unless I’m missing the point here, would it not be a better idea to spend this money on a survey on the remaining trees before another one comes down in similar circumstances?
